ILEC (International Legal English Certificate) preparation course
What is the ILEC?
The International Legal English Certificate is an advanced qualification (B2-C1 on the Common European Framework) that shows you have a sufficient level of English for a successful career in international law. The exam requires you to use English in practical, realistic situations and will help you express your opinions clearly, take part in meetings or discussions of a legal nature, and understand and write different types of legal text.
The International House ILEC Preparation Course is for law students and practicing lawyers interested in preparing for the ILEC exam. The texts and topics of the exam are set in the context of International Commercial law and most references are to UK, US and European Union law.

Note New students need to take a level test before matriculating.

Sitting the exam is optional and course prices do not include exam fees.
