BEC (Business English Certificates) exams
Linked to the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of References for Languages, the Cambridge BEC exams are the point of reference if you want an internationally recognised business qualification that shows you can speak English to an appropriate standard and use it in a professional context.
The exams provided by Cambridge English Language Assessment are the leading range of certificates for learners of English. Each year they are taken by over 2 million people, in 130 countries. They can help you gain entrance to a university or college, improve your job prospects and measure your progress in English.
There are three BEC exams — BEC Preliminary, BEC Vantage and BEC Higher — which test English language ability used in a work context. Follow the links for specific information on what each exam involves.
- BEC Higher (C1 Effective Operational Proficiency - CAE exam level)
